Yara Yassin
Yara is the Co-Founder of Up-fuse, a social enterprise that upcycles plastic waste into sustainable green fashion products. Established in 2015, Up-fuse has recycled over a million plastic bags, tires, and water bottles, while providing employment to more than 80 women artisans in Cairo. Yara's dedication to environmental sustainability and social empowerment has been recognized globally; she was awarded by the UN Environment and secured first place at the World Bank's WeMENA competition, which supports female entrepreneurship in the region. She has also represented Middle Eastern women entrepreneurs at various international forums, including World Bank events.
