Karima El-Hakim
Karima is an experienced investment and business development professional with a decade of working in global FMCG, Development and Finance conglomerates. She plays a key enablement role in the Egyptian entrepreneurship ecosystem since 2019 when she joined Falak Startups, one of the leading technology accelerators in the country. Karima recently joined Fawry, one of the largest payments technology company in Egypt and one of the largest fintech companies in Africa as their Ecosystem and Venture Builder. Fawry is shaping the digital payments space and is a catalyst for financial inclusion in the country. Karima focuses on building strategic relationships with stakeholders and promotes startup venture opportunities within the organization. Karima holds a BSc. in business administration from the American University in Cairo and a MSc in market research from Sciences-Po Paris (IEP)
