"Karim El Assal is an innovative and entrepreneurial leader, who has a strong sense and awareness of market changes and dynamics. Karim has more than 12 years in business leadership and the real estate industry, and played a significant role in the boom that the company experienced over the past two decades. He is a key pillar in the development and implementation of the brand’s strategic planning and is therefore able to generate sustainable organizational growth Karim graduated from The German University in Cairo in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Management, specializing in Marketing and Strategic Management. Karim holds the position of Co-CEO of Misr Italia Properties. His functional expertise involves all areas related to the commercial sector including but not limited to Sales, Marketing and Customer Relationship Management as well as overseeing the Development, Human Resources and Administration Departments. Karim also develops the annual operational plan, budget, targets and performance outcomes. Karim supervises, delivers and drives the company’s performance, emphasizing working with KPIs to track results and setting a high bar for the level of performance By leveraging on best practices, Karim ensures the most efficient application and development of financial and human resources. He leads the continuous evaluation and appropriate planning of the strategic real estate portfolio to ensure that capital plans for new projects and new concepts lead to a better customer experience and maximized shareholder value, all while developing the people of the organization and giving back to the community and Egypt by creating shared value. Karim sponsors positive change within the organization by supporting a performance culture and driving Corporate Governance operating model of rules. He ensures directors are setting the right tone at the top and reinforces the importance of directors’ commitment to support the company’s Business Transformation changes & initiatives. "
