Hesham Shafick
Hesham Shafick, PhD, MPP Policy advisor specialized in public-private partnerships, with a focus on sustainable development finance. Hesham led consultancy projects with several international development organisations, including the WHO, the GIZ, and the USAID,government organisations including the Canadian Institutes of Health, the US Grains Council, the UK Economic and Social Research Council, and Egyptian Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center, and MNCs including GSK, J&J,Google, Microsoft, InDrive, and Coca-Cola. Hesham is a lecturer of political economy at the UN Institute for Training and Research, the United Nations training arm, having previously held teaching and research positions at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) - University of London, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), and University College London (UCL). He holds a PhD and MPP from the University of London, and executive education certificates from Stanford, Oxford, Harvard, Michigan, and the Akademie für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (AIZ)
