Germine Bouchnack
Germine has 6 years of experience in banking, venture capital, and the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Germine is currently an Associate Director and Egypt Operations Manager at MEVP. She joined the company 4 years ago to launch MEVP's Egypt office and is currently working, along with the partners, on expanding MEVP's footprint in North and Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to joining MEVP, Germine worked in the investment unit at Flat6Labs where she helped manage a portfolio of over 55 startups across diverse industries. Prior to that, Germine was an Assistant Product Development Manager at the Commercial International Bank (CIB). During her time at CIB, she worked alongside the bank's senior management on revamping the SME Banking department's strategy, products, and processes. Germine holds a bachelor's degree in Management Technology, with a double major in Economics and Finance, from The German University in Cairo. During her undergraduate years, Germine led several entrepreneurial initiatives and conducted her bachelor thesis on the Egyptian SME financing landscape.
