The UN Refugee Agency is a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for refugees, forcibly displaced and statelessness people. Telling the Real Story, facilitated by UNHCR, engages with communities on the move at large about risks of irregular journeys, opportunities for regular move and resilience/livelihood prospects in countries of origin, asylum, transit and destination.
In her 24 years with the UN Refugee Agency, Daniela worked in different functions and locations in Asia, Africa, South Eastern Europe and Middle East, including in Kenya, China and, more recently, in Jordan, where she managed the protection response during the Syrian emergency.
