Andreea joined as a Partner early 2021 and heads Climate Technology Investments at Planet First Partners. Andreea spent more than 14 years in various finance roles across investment banking, private equity and public markets investing before dedicating herself fully to sustainable investing in 2020.

Andreea started her career at Goldman Sachs in New York where she advised consumer and retail focused companies on mergers and acquisitions. Her formative years as an investor were at CVC Capital where she focused on scaling up companies in emerging markets across a variety of sectors. She then applied the same rigorous investment approach at Consulta and LMR Partners, investing in listed companies, with a strong fundamental analysis focus and deep management involvement. In 2018 Andreea co-founded ESGine, a technology platform that streamlined ESG management for the financial services sector.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago. Impact is an active area of interest for Andreea. She is a contributor to Icarus Complex, a climate change solution focused biannual magazine, and previously was involved with the CVC Foundation philanthropic efforts in education and equal opportunity.

Andreea’s passion for the environment stems from the ocean, where she finds herself equally at ease surfing waves, scuba diving off of a liveaboard, sailing or swimming in a triathlon. Andreea is a certified yoga instructor and has a strong interest in world religions and philosophy. She is originally from Romania, however, having traveled to more than 56 countries and lived in three finance capitals of the world, she sees herself as a global citizen.
