Amira Swilam
Amira Swilam Fund Operations Manager at DEN VC Amira has a great deal of experience in managing multiple acceleration and incubation programs. Currently and proudly, I'm working as a Fund Operations Manager at Den VC (since its inception), a leading VC that invests in early-stage tech-enabled startups in Pan Arab and African regions and beyond. Amira has been responsible for bookrunning and executing the relations of the investors and the portfolio management. Also, she is a Teaching Assistant at AUC for the course of the entrepreneurship and innovation lab. Amira has an entrepreneurial spirit; she was a Co-founder at Freelance Yard, where she empowered 10k+ freelancers and entrepreneurs through improving their incomes, and delivering courses and training sessions digitally and on-ground. Amira’s mission is to support and accelerate the growth journeys of innovative entrepreneurs and startups through investment, mentorship, and training. She has contributed to the success of over a hundred startups and thousands of individuals through her work involvement and volunteering contributions in various acceleration programs like Startup Reactor funded by Oxfam, 17 Goals program funded by the UN Egypt, and ICPC; the most prestigious and old problem-solving competition in the world. Amira has a bachelor degree of English Interpretation & literature. Then, she held an MBA degree in marketing management from the University of Pennsylvania and obtained Venture Capital Diploma from the AUC.
