About The Speaker
Ahmed Omar
Omar is the founder and CEO of Odiggo.com, Egypt’s largest marketplace for car parts, which recently closed a $180,000 seed investment to expand to Saudi Arabia. Omar started as a Souq and Jumia seller in university, who brought in fleet from offline markets in Egypt to be available online to Egyptian consumers. He then left to the US to start building an e-commerce team and started integrating warehouses to live inventory to be able to sell and market products on big billion-dollar marketplaces like Amazon, Ebay and Wayfair. His company, Odiggo, has sold more than 1M EGP worth of spare parts in the first months and has continued to breathe life into Egypt's aching parallel economy of guerrilla car parts.
