Regional Manager of Techstars MEA.Ahmad is a social entrepreneur, startup, and collaborative economy activist. He works as the Middle East and Africa Regional Manager at Techstars, where he supports hundreds of community leaders around the region with a main aim of fostering entrepreneurship in a thriving startup ecosystem while creating solid grassroots leadership. Since 2012, Ahmad has been helping hundreds of Syrians to gain access to entrepreneurship opportunities and build a supportive environment.He is also Jusoor’s entrepreneurship program manager, an adviser in the and Techfugees Board and Entrepreneur in Residence at Aliqtsadi, and mentor for several startups, non-profits, and international organizations. Ahmad has written two books "Entrepreneurship In Conflict Zones" and "Entrepreneurship in Exile" to shed some light on the status quo of Syrian founders; in conflict zones and as refugees in host countries.His work has appeared in top-tier tech publications such as the World Economic Forum, Forbes, The Guardian, Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post, and many others. Also, presented in top stages including EU Parliament, World Bank, Wilton Park, Goethe Institut, Google, SPARK Ignite, Techfugees summit, Startup Istanbul, and many more.
