We have reached the finals of the Diversity Innovation Days, a journey of 4 hackathons that allowed 115 participants to learn the process of forming, validating and pitching a startup. 20 Speakers contributed to shaping the participants through their experiences, and a total of 41 Mentors provided their support to the 27 projects that were born during this journey.

Each of them pitched their own idea, each had the opportunity to materialize their dream, and they received support to do so from great experts in various fields.

Rana is a Syrian-American advocate for refugees and civilians in conflict, as well as the solution owner of IBM's Refugee & Migration Predictive Analytics Solution - an innovative solution that leverages machine learning and cognitive processing to enable government agencies and humanitarian organizations to more effectively manage refugee and migration-related crises.

Her work has been published in the Wall Street Journal, WIRED magazine, and her research has been cited by Yale University and the Foreign Policy Initiative.
